Lisbon in Detail

The Portuguese capital is a real box of surprises. In every street or avenue, there is so much to discover. Argon Travel's proposal is to see a little of everything and be aware of all the details. Be it architectural, be it cultural or historical. Let's begin in the Tobacco Gardens, to start a visit to one of the most emblematic neighbourhoods –Alfama. Afterwards, and visiting each corner of this area, admire all the beauty of the Lisbon Cathedral and contemplate the landscape that the Miradouro de Santa Luzia and São Jorge Castle offer over the city. Descending to Rossio, passing through Parque das Nações, leaving for Belém. And here, in this last neighbourhood, we promise a visit to the Monument of the Discoveries and the Jeronimos Monastery, which symbolizes Portugal's entry into the era of Humanism and the Renaissance. There is also a must stop at the famous Belém pastels and the Ajuda Botanical Garden, one of Lisbon's most beautiful and historic gardens. And as the city's characteristic details don't end here, the tour still allows time for a walking tour of Camões Square, Bairro Alto and Chiado, Rua do Ouro, with the 1902 iron elevator, until Praça do Commerce, inaugurated after the 1755 earthquake. The visit is completed with a trip to the National Tile Museum, a space with a unique collection of this artistic expression so distinct and different from Portuguese culture.
